Exploiting Sesame Street for Fun and Profit

By the time I was 3, I could read, thanks to my childhood habit of watching the same episode of Sesame Street twice a day as a pre-preschooler (the alphabet and word-and-picture flashcards my parents gave me certainly didn't hurt). When I entered kindergarten, I could already write in cursive and I was reading at a third- or fourth-grade level.
